Zero Pressure Line Roller (ZPLR)
The Zero-Pressure Line Roller conveyor is divided into accumulation zones. Each zone is powered from a flat-drive belt running the entire length of the conveyor. The drive belt is pneumatically raised to the tread rollers, causing product in that zone to move. Electronically controlled light beams sense product presence and control the accumulation process. The ZPLR is a key component for operating a flat loop system and is an effective way to move foam-encased products efficiently.
